První  den ostravského festivalu Colours of Ostrava uběhl jako voda. Před více než třiceti tisíci návštěvníky 17. července vystoupili jak očekávaní američtí alternativci MGMT, tak divocí Shaka Ponk, bluesman Seasick Steve či svěží francouzští bubeníci Les Tambours du Bronx.
